Lay Ecclesial Ministry

Formerly known as "Lay Ministry," this ministry sets us on a path of aligning ourselves with the recent pastoral document of the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops, Co-Workers in the Vineyard: A Resource Guide for the Development of Lay Ecclesial Ministry. This ministry offers a more formal catechetical path than does Adult Enrichment. Participants who successfully complete two years of courses earn Diocesan certification, and advanced certification (Master Catechist) after three years. Participants choose a specialized ministry topic for their third year track.
